Stargazers Welcome scheme for tourism businesses
For visitors to Scotland, our dark skies are something very special - Scotland has some of the largest areas of dark sky in western Europe. People will witness these starry skies at many moments during their stay - on their way back from sightseeing or a day in the hills, or after a enjoying an evening meal in their hotel or restaurant.
We are setting up the Stargazers Welcome scheme for tourism businesses of all types, so they can help visitors make the most the growing interest in this spectacular part of Scotland’s natural heritage. The scheme provides training and resource packs geared to helping visitors see the best of Scotland’s dark skies.
